Lawrence Kibula is a sociologist and partnerships professional with more than seven years of experience across banking, non-profit and international development. As Partnerships Officer at SDG Bridge Africa, he leads partnership strategy, resource mobilisation, donor engagement and coalition-building — turning relationships into accountable, high-impact programming.
He began his career in banking with BRAC Uganda Bank, Opportunity Bank Uganda and Mango Tree Educational Enterprise before moving into development work, and has since mobilised over 100 community groups and reached 2,000 households across Uganda's Lango sub-region through women's groups, farmers' groups and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs).
Lawrence holds a BA in Sociology from Makerere University Kampala, and has completed further professional training to strengthen his partnerships and monitoring & evaluation practice.
These qualifications underpin his work building transparent, accountable partnerships rooted in the priorities of the communities SDG Bridge Africa serves.
