Kusasira Emmanuel is a compliance and operations professional with three years of experience working at the interface of students, civil-society organisations and university systems in Uganda. As Compliance and Operations Officer at SDG Bridge Africa, he leads the organisation's compliance, risk and operations function, ensuring SDG-BA meets Ugandan NGO regulatory requirements and stays donor- and audit-ready.
He has coordinated policy development, internal controls and incident-management procedures, and worked directly with survivors of gender-based violence to strengthen referral pathways and protection protocols — including training as a trainer of trainers on Busitema University's KISHAB safeguarding reporting tool.
Kusasira holds a BA (Hons) in Tourism and Travel Management from Busitema University, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management at the Uganda Management Institute.
He has completed professional training in Safeguarding & PSEA and Data Protection, underpinning his work building compliant, ethical systems across SDG-BA's programmes.
