Joseph Okidi is a community psychologist and mental-health programme leader with nine years of experience in humanitarian and development settings, specialising in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). As Programs Officer at SDG Bridge Africa, he provides strategic leadership for programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning across the organisation's six programmatic areas.
He previously served as Senior Psychological Counsellor and Assistant Clinical Team Leader at CCVS Uganda, as a consultant with PAX Gulu, and as Team Leader on the Survival Plus NORAID Project under Makerere University — supervising multidisciplinary teams and training frontline mental-health providers across northern Uganda.
Joseph holds a BA in Community Psychology from Makerere University and a Certificate in Trauma and Adversity Intervention from Clarke International University.
He has completed further clinical training in CBT, ACT, NET, Narrative Therapy and EMDR, combining clinical depth with strong monitoring and evaluation practice.
